As you might expect Galilee has many wonderful restaurants.
Here's some of the best known:
-
George's
of Galilee
Corner of Great Road and Sand Hill Cove Road
A Rhode Island landmark, George's has been
serving seafood at the tip of Galilee since 1948. A
wonderful menu of chowder and clamcakes, stuffies, lobster
rolls, fried clams and more. Eat in or take out and eat at
the rocks on the breachway.
-
Champlin's
Seafood
256 Great Road
You can't go wrong with Champlin's - great
views of the boats coming and going through the Breach-way.
-
Aunt Carrie's
1240 Ocean Road
The quintessential clam shack, eating here
is a summer ritual for many Rhode Islanders. Seafood served
the old fashioned way - outside on picnic tables, in the
semi-enclosed porch or in your car. Open daily except
Tuesday from June trough October.
